"They're greedy, misogynistic, untrustworthy little trolls, and I wouldn't turn my back on one of them for a second."
"Neither would I. But once you accept that, you'll find they can be a lot of fun."

– Kirce James and Lando Calrissian,1722 N.E

The Ferengi (or Space Trolls by the Allies and called Siiki'ooiki Wimmi'kmmi by the Second Human Empire) were a warp capable humanoid species from the Alpha Quadrant. They originated from planet Ferenginar. Ferengi civilization was built on a caricature of free enterprise, where earning profit was the sole meaningful goal in life, superseding all other endeavors. The Ferengi governing body, known as the Ferengi Alliance, was formed over a period of ten thousand years, beginning with the establishment of a system of currency, to their purchase of warp technology, and finally to its state in the 24th century. The Ferengi joined the Alliance of Nations and Axis of Empires to counter the Coalition's Azeroth Trolls led by Vol'jin

On average, Ferengi were shorter than Humans. They had orange-brown colored skin, blue fingernails, enlarged skulls, wrinkled noses, and sharp teeth. Internally, they had ascending ribs and upper and lower lungs, as well as an unusual four-lobed brain that could not be read by telepathic species such as Betazoids, although Counselor Troi was able to detect "deception" and "danger" from the Ferengi Bok.

Psychology Edit

Greed Edit

They were considered a greedy people and highly dishonest. Greed was never enough amongst Ferengi with true members of their kind believing that they combined greed with pure corruption with a passion for staying out of other peoples' business unless there was profit to be made.

Some believed the concept of money and the particular manner it flowed from other sources into the possession of the Ferengi was an implicit factor in any conversation with the species. Their reputation meant that it was held that the species never did favors without either receiving payment or because they had an ulterior motive. As such, they were noted for being an acquisitive race.

One old proverb of the race involved not looking so intently for the silver coin an individual dropped that they missed the gold ones around it.

One tactic used was the art of Kraggnish whereby a Ferengi attempted to get their enemy to think that their rival was their friend and dying to do them a favor when in actual fact the Ferengi was only dying to see the latinum in their pockets.

Repeated acts of berating and verbal abuse were a means for them to vent any tensions.
