Captain James Gregory Cutter (Service Number: 01730-58392-JC) was a senior officer in the Allied Navy, serving as an officer during the Insurrection and early into First War.[3] He would later serve as the commanding officer of the modified colony ship, the UNSC Spirit of Fire.[4] Cutter is known to have a wife, Mary Cutter, and a daughter on Reach.[5] He also had an illegitimate son, Daniel Clayton with a woman on Tribute.
