The Klingon-Cardassian Alliance was the dominant power of the Nuyi’zu Alpha Quadrant, it merges the mirror versions of the Klingon Empire and the Cardassian Union into a one supreme army of the their native galaxy to rival the Terran Empire near the end of the first war and desired to conquer the empire in their weakened state. The Alliance itself was led by a Regent, who delegated authority to various Intendants who administrated the individual sectors of KCA territory. The Alliance was ruled by the Nuyi’zu variations of Gorkon and Gul Dukat. While they became rivals to the Terrans, the KCA eventually joined forces with the Axis of Empires to be spared from becoming puppets like the Terran Empire.
