The People's Republic of Amestris, commonly known as the Republic of Amestris or simply Amestris, is a technolist dictatorship bordering Epirus, Arna, and Bidedia to the north, Roma in the west, Xerxes in the south, and Styra and Liberon in the east. Its capital planet is Erosin. It is currently at war and has annexed Arna and Epirus. It is a member of the Axis of Independent Nations and allied to the Germanican Empire. They have joined the Alliance of Nations in order to reclaim the northern half of their territory from the Axis of Empires.
