Storm-CHRON

Stormtroopers were the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire. Like Imperial-class Star Destroyers and TIE fighters, stormtroopers served as ever present reminders of the absolute power of Emperor Palpatine. These faceless enforcers of the New Order were considered an extension of the Emperor's will, and thus they often used efficient yet usually unreasonable tactics as a way to keep thousands of star systems throughout the multiverse in line. At the height of the Empire, stormtroopers had effectively become symbols of major authority and terror. With few exceptions, they were distinguished from all other military units by their signature white armor.

Campaign/Combat performance[]

Compared to the usual trooper or modern solders, stormtroopers are highly disciplined and well trained in the Galactic Empire's army, more of a elite shock trooper than a grunt, stormtroopers still at the end of the day are grunts. However unlike most grunts stormtroopers have excellent aim and field a large arsenal of weapon, while commonly using a blaster like the E-11 blaster rifle their main weapon which can hold either laser or plasma ammo types. Limited by magazine and range. the E-11 in the stormtrooper's hands is a force capable of bringing down Adeptus Astartes thanks to the stormtroopers training at aiming for weak points in the armour of heavy infantry. The Stormtrooper was feared by many even in the ranks of the Axis. The Orks loved to get the armour of the Stormtrooper and either paint it red for orks users to run faster or blue to make them more lucky against incoming fire. Stormtrooper helmets as said by FN-2187 were designed to block smoke not chemical attacks which was one of the main weaknesses of troopers when they came against biochemical attacks which usually would result in entire squads wiped.

Much like the tie pilots, stormtrooper armour can protect the user from small arms fire to some laser and (requiring large amounts of luck) even a direct plasma hit. Although the armour was cumbersome and limited a stormtrooper's freedom of movement.
